Weeee!  Well can we say it's been a looooooong time since I've posted in here?  Dunno if anyone even remembers little ol' me. lol  Well, I've been meaning to write in this thing, just haven't.  Things are going well.  JD's enjoying his job pretty much.  His boss is just.... a boss. lol  He's not even over his 90 days yet and his boss told him today that in 3 months, he'll probably get a nice promotion.  Most people have to work there for a while before that happens, so that's awesome.  I'm supervisor at work again for the meantime, so it's been a stressfull week at work, but all is well.  JD's got baby fever I do believe... awesome! lol  My mom's still pretty sick, so if anyone reads this please remember her in prayer. 

Hm... what else is up.  My little kitties are growing and growing.  They both have been "fixed" now and are playing around here in the room.  Hey, they're my babies so far and I gotta include them in everything I say. lol  I haven't gotten to hear very much new music that impresses me lately.  We did sign a few new bands at work that are pretty good.  One is Blissed.  The drummer from Stryper, Robert Sweet, is the drummer and they're a pretty good band.  One group is Jaded Thorns, they are the most awesome group of guys.  I met them at the convention in February.  They are talented guys and they are so genuine.  That's such a plus with me. 

We signed Mick Rowe, who is a sweet guy.  Not many people might know him, but some devoted rockers might.  We signed Neal Morse, Echofrequency and Mending Point.  I really haven't had much of a chance to listen to them though.  I'm just excited about all the new rock faces around the area.  The convention in February went very well.  It was in Indiana again.  It snowed a whole lot.  I love it up there though, so that's always fun.  It's going to be in Atlanta this summer.  The big one is always interesting.  There are usually a ton of artists there that I like to meet.  It's an unusual experience.  Well, now I'm starting to ramble.  Hope to talk to some of my ol' friends soon. Today was an awesome day for blessings.  We heard today that JD got the job!!!  He starts on Saturday.  Also, we didn't know how we would make it this week as far as finances go.  We had to get 4 of my mom's prescriptions, pay on our chair, get gas, groceries, pay half of the phone bill and get JD a pair of pants for work.  Turns out, we get to the pharmacy and mom's insurance kicked in and it was 42 dollars instead of 142.  Then we get the receipt back and I had 18 dollars in CVS bucks.  So that took care of some things I needed before I go on this convention coming up!  Everything was taken care of.  I was just in awe of God today.  He is so incredible. 

I spent the last hour trying to help Disciple out on an internet video show and they won!  I was so happy for them.  They finally have 2 videos coming out and Back Again had its world premiere tonight.  If anyone wants to check it out it's on tvuonline.com.  Well, that's it for now.  Thanks again for all the prayers.  I love you all.

Thanks guys for your comments.  Mike, you definitely made me laugh. lol  Danny, I think it's awesome that you're listening to more Disciple!  That just flat out rocks!  Kevin is definitely an individual who is so on fire for God.  He helps me so much just through his music and lyrics.  Their music is just a strong influence for so many people. 

Well, here's an update.  JD is back on track.  He is strong in his faith again, thank God.  As for the job situation, we went in to make a payment at this place the other night and we ended up spending 2 hours there.  The topic got on how I was going to make a month payment, but could only make 1 week this time.  The lady asked JD if he needed a job and he ended up taking the on-line application while we were there.  Well, it goes to the corporate office and it's supposed to take up to 3 weeks to process and all.  The lady called corporate right then and went ahead and took him back in her office and gave him an interview.

On top of that, she went ahead and gave him all of his tests that's supposed to take up to a month to complete.  She must really want him to work there.  The best part is that he will make enough money for us to get another vehicle, which is soooo needed right now.  We've been praying for that for a long time.  He'll make enough money for us to even maybe start a family!  We've been waiting for something like this to come along before we even tried.  So, please pray for this.  He's supposed to go in to take a drug test tomorrow and we both know he'll pass that.  So, it's in God's hands.  We're basically just waiting to see how God will work in our lives right now.  Please continue to pray for him.  He's feeling so much better and he just seems to have a peace, which is so awesome.

Well, here's a little update.  Things are better.  They can always get worse is what I keep reminding myself of.  JD is doing a whole lot better, especially in his faith.  He came to pick me up from work Friday and a couple of my friends stopped him and talked to him.  They ended up praying with him and I believe that did a whole lot of good for him.  Then that night we got together with a couple of friends we hadn't talked to in quite a while.  We all went to dinner and they ended up coming over and we talked to way up in the morning.  That also did him some good.  Then last night, Kevin ended up calling him.  That was just awesome.  I tell ya, Disciple is just an anointed group of guys.  Kevin invited him to call him anytime he needed to, which is just awesome of him.  They prayed and talked and I really believe that JD is back on the right track.

I think the mode we're in right now is just a waiting period.  We know that God will work.  We just have to realize that it's on His own timing and not ours.  He brings us through these things for a reason.  Things aren't always gonna be peachy ya know?  I just have to have faith that everything's gonna be fine.  I'm glad I have that peace.  Thank you all for your prayers and comments.  I love you guys.  Please continue to remember us in your prayers.

Well.. for lack of a better term.. today sucked.  JD lost his job today. Yeah you heard me right.  We need prayer now more than ever.  It was totally unexpected.  Thursday is his day off and he went in to pick up his check and they let him go. Turns out, they did inventory the other day and realized they're 25,000 in the hole.  It doesn't surprise me.  They're definitely not organized people.  They had to let 2 people go and since JD was the last they hired, they had to let him go.  He's seriously upset as can be expected.  I'm just trying to be mega strong for the both of us.  I need to be strong in God right now for the both of us.

It couldn't come at a worse time as far as JD questioning his faith as well.  I tell ya.. the devil must really want him bad!!!!  He's definitely out for him with a passion for sure.  He's out with his friend Rodney doing a job tonight, and I'm glad actually that he's with him.  I know that he will help cheer him up and hopefully just help him.  JD did reassure me the other day that he wouldn't partake in the coven by the way.  That's an answered prayer, but he's still thinking about things with wicca I do believe.

Kevin and JD never hooked up on the phone the other night.  Kevin called him and left a message on JD's cell because we were asleep.  So JD called him back and left a message.  It just seems like they're playing phone tag.  I know Kevin was recording all day yesterday so I dunno when he'll get to call.  I just hope that God will allow Kevin to call soon.. especially now.  I get to preview the new Disciple dvd this weekend.. can't wait for that.  I got my package from Hot Topic today with some clothes... that was a cool thing that happened today.  So.. anyways... please pray.  I know I always ask that, but the devil is out in full force on us right now.  I don't know what's gonna happen.
